1985 Ferrari 308 GTSi Quatrovalve Ferrari Red with Black Leather s/n ZFFUA13A1F0052837 As an `85, built in the very last production year of the highly successful 308 series, this Quatrovalve was the most advanced and most powerful of the 308s. This example has 41,382 miles, and has just had a comprehensive service performed including full belt and fluids change, valve adjustment, full hose replacement and radiator re-core, and rear brake rebuilt. This was all done just 300 miles, and three months ago, to the tune of $9,582. Additionally, the clutch was replaced 6,000 miles ago. Receipts are available for all work done buy the current owner who purchased this car in 1994. The interior is totally original and very nice. All switches, knobs and gauges are stock, intact, and fully functional, including the A/C which blows cold. The carpet and fitted inlays are in very good condition, as is the headliner. The drivers seat shows minor bolster wear common to 308s. A late model Nakamichi CD player has been tastefully installed. The exterior is impressively clean, with evidence to suggest that the car has seen a high quality repaint as there are minimal rock chips and no door dings. There is one small bodywork flaw behind the left rear wheel. All the black gasketing and trim pieces are clean and crisp, nicely defining the car`s lines. The bumpers are not discolored and all the gaps are tight and even, with excellent door shut. There is no evidence of damage or repair. The frontal compartment and trunk area both well kept and in very good, original condition. With just 41,000 miles, this car is mechanically tight and responsive as one would expect a low mileage car to be. The drivers door shut is tight and crisp. The motor is fitted with all its original smog equipment, and it passed smog 2 months ago with flying colors. Second gear synchro is strong and the suspension, brakes, and transaxle all feel excellent, reflecting the mileage. Having been recently serviced at great expense, this car needs nothing before being enjoyed by it`s new owner.
