1937 MG SA Drophead
S/N: SA 1513
Award-winning restoration on rare large MG SA
This three position drophead, bodied by Salman & Son, is one of less than 700 SA's built between 1937 and 1939. Less than 100 survive today, of which ten, perhaps, are in the United States. This particular example has undergone a painstaking twelve-year restoration, following its discovery in a New Jersey barn in 1990. The result is an absolutely stunning example of a very rare car that has won many awards, including first in class at the Palo Alto Concours in 2004. The car comes with extensive photo and paper documentation of the renewal of the body, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, interior, top, paint, and chrome. The original tools and manual are also present.
