Best described as a mechanically excellent `driver`, this is the ideal early Corvette for those not interested in paying a premium for originality or show quality cosmetics.

Having been in the same family since 1982, this car is well taken care of and comes with an enormous stack of receipts for work completed dating back to 1994. Very recently, the engine was completely replaced with a 350 c.i./355hp crate motor. The example is fitted with the car more desirable 4 speed gearbox with a reasonably high rear end ratio for comfortable highway cruising. Currently the car shows 93,371 miles.

The car has been repainted in what appears to be its original white some years ago. There are minor and moderate chips and scratches associated with age and use. All the stainless and chrome trim is attached, and aside from very minor pitting and light surfaces scratches, is in very good condition with no major dings, dents, or flaking. All lenses and badges are in good condition with no cracking. The boding strips on all four corners are perfectly straight, confirming the car has never been hit or repaired in those areas.

The interior is in good condition with very nice dash, gauges faces, steering wheel, seats, and headliner. The door panels, door jams, and carpet are in basic `driver` condition. With the exception of a later radio, the interior remains stock.

Like the rest of the car, the hard top has been painted. The headliner is in good condition, but the plastic rear window shows moderate haze and has one 10” crack at the bottom edge. The vinyl soft top cover looks to have been recently replaced.

The engine compartment, while not totally stock, looks to have been well taken care of. The trunk appears to be original and is in good condition. The underside shows no obvious signs of damage or rust.

Currently the car sits on American Mag wheels with new tires, and has new brakes. With the car come the jack, lug wrench, spare wheel, and records outlining brake, suspension, and steering box work in addition to the installation of the new motor.
