1963 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint
s/n 149323260
Blue with Black Interior
The Bertone-bodied Giulietta Sprints are one of the most adorable and nicely balanced cars of the 1960s. Reliable, and eligible for tour events such as the California Mille, these are truly cars that can be enjoyed year-round.
Built as an early 102 series car, this restored example has been fitted with a later 105 series 1600cc engine with two 40 DCOE Weber carburetors, emulating the highly sought after Veloce model of the day. This car is best described as a cosmetically restored driver.
The exterior has just seen a fresh fair to good quality repaint in what looks to be its original blue. The gaps are fair to good throughout, and while certainly not a pebble beach quality job, the car looks excellent from just a few feet away. The bumpers, grille, and headlight rims have been recently re-chromed, while the rest of the chrome and stainless trim looks to be original. There are no obvious signs of rust repair in the paint or on the underside.
The interior has also had a significant amount of recent attention with new carpets and headliner. The seats, while not stock are very comfortable and look period correct. All original gauges, switches, and knobs are present, as is the stock steering wheel.
The engine compartment has seen some basic touch up, but is in mostly original, sound condition. The car sits on stock steel wheels with new Pirelli P400 tires.
