This car, titled as a 1971, is a lovely and fun example that was originally delivered in the UK and is RHD. It was imported in 1992 and has extensive upgrades from John Cooper Conversions, which were completed in 1991. It has had two owners and has full documentation from new. Among the reciepts are documents for a full engine rebuild 12,500 miles ago. It has a carburated 1380cc motor and a 5-speed gearbox with straight-cut gears, making it both quick and entertaining. It is cosmetically and mechanically excellent, and everything works. Other upgrades include a 6-point bolt-in roll cage, racing harness, leather bucket seats embroidered with Cooper emblems, wood dashboard, door trims, and shift knob. There are also rally lights and Hella H4 headlights, as well as original Cooper brochures from the conversion. Extremely well documented and appealing.
