The Tipo 61 Bidrcage has been described by Sir Stirling Moss as "A fabulous car-light, very nimble, fantastic brakes, super steering, enormous torque and good power". The beautiful and correct example was contructed over a fourteen year period by the highly respected firm of Crosthwaite & Gardiner, Ltd. Using engine #2467 the chassis faithfully replicates Tipo 61 chassis 2458. The body was constructed by the highly respected specialist Rod Jolley Coachbuilders
